Outside of my professional life, I find joy and balance in hobbies like gardening, crafting beautiful beaded earrings, and weightlifting. These activities not only provide a creative outlet but also reflect my dedication and attention to detail—qualities that I bring to every UX project.

My career path is as diverse as my interests. After serving in the US Navy, where precision and discipline were part of my everyday life, I transitioned into the tech world. Here, I discovered a profound interest in AI advancements, leading to exciting freelance projects with multiple AI startups.

I'm especially proud of my contributions to projects like Halo AR for Lightup, a STEM education app utilizing AR, and Skimli, an AI video editing SaaS company. My role in these projects varied from leading design sprints to creating comprehensive design systems, branding, illustrations, and animations. Most recently, I worked with Hotshot, where I designed the table view and AI chat for their lawyer file management SAAS product.

As an Indigenous person, I am deeply committed to inspiring others from my community to explore careers in tech and design. I believe in the power of representation and the importance of diverse voices in shaping the future of technology.

My approach to UX design is grounded in empathy and a passion for making technology accessible and intuitive. I thrive on learning and have a knack for teaching myself new skills, always aiming to stay ahead in this rapidly changing field.
